Luton are hoping to have defender Ed Asafu-Adjaye and wing-back Claude Gnakpa in contention for Saturday's game with Altrincham.New signings Adam Drury, Dan Gleeson and Adam Murray are all in line for their debuts.

Altrincham are waiting on international clearance for midfielder Matty Crowell.

New striker Michael Twiss is still short of match fitness, but fellow new signing Damian Reeves should partner Chris Denham up front.

Luton manager Richard Money told BBC Three Counties Radio: "We have a fully-fit squad to select from, the only absentee is Adam Newton who is suspended. We have got pretty good fitness levels into everybody.

"We have got seven games in the next 21 days, and six in the next sixteen. The whole point of having a good squad of players is that we can freshen things up.

"I really don't think we could be in a better place going into the first game of the season."
