Altrincham sign goalkeeper Coates.
Altrincham have signed former Wales under-21 international goalkeeper James Coates, following the release of Russell Sanders.Coates, who started his career at Blue Square Bet Premier rivals Mansfield, has previous experience at Moss Lane, having been a trialist in 2008.
The 25-year-old has also had spells at Worcester City, Northwich, Boston United and Welsh side Rhyl.
He will challenge Stuart Coburn for the number one jersey.
